Honda motor car – original 1970s Manhattan Windsor vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Honda keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob .

When this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This vitreous enamel badge is in new old stock mint condition and was made in Birmingham by Manhattan Windsor Ltd at – their details are cast into the back of the badge.

Identical badges were made by Melsom Products Ltd in the early 1970s – Melsoms closed very shortly after that and it looks as though Manhattan Windsor bought the badge tooling at that time.

This was common practice in the 1960s & 1970s when there were many small badgemaking concerns in England – many of whom were only in business for a few years.

At that time most keyrings for the world’s cars were made in Birmingham – it was quite an industry.

The badge is original & correct for any 1970s Honda motor car. SMOSO  59/93  02/24
