This has simply been a convenient method of sending the description of this item to a firm in Lancashire.

Collings SJ ordered from Collings USA ( by me )  in 2007 through Vintage Guitar Co. Ltd of Norwich.

AAA Brazilian rosewood back & sides – probably the very last SJ built by Collings in Brazilian.

Adirondack spruce top with pre-war scalloped bracing

Grained Ivoroid binding to top & back of body

Black/white & wood nitrate strip rosette

Gloss finished mahogany neck with double bound ebony fingerboard ( ivoroid)

Original genuine Collings case.

The guitar is in superb condition – almost mint.

Some very light surface scratches on the face caused by playing which would probably polish out .

2 or 3 very slight indents – see photos which probably accentuate the indents.
