1 in stock
A Lawrencetune keyring which will probably have been produced around 20 years ago .
We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .
This keyring will have been produced many years after Lawrencetune’s main period of activity .
We would not think that this keyring is an original item commissioned by Chris Lawrence although it was being used in a Morgan car when we received it .
The badge on this keyring has lost most of the red enamel as can be seen in the listing photos .
It would originally have been a chequerboard design of red enamel & nickel plating – now almost all that remains are the nickel plated areas .
The badge is mounted onto a keyfob in black faux leather .
Chris Lawrence and his Lawrencetune operation had begun developing the Morgan Plus 4 with Triumph TR engine for racing in the late 1950s.
By 1961 Lawrence was running the Morgan factory works team .
The Lawrencetune prepared Morgans became the factory built Morgan Plus 4 Super Sports offered by the Morgan factory .
The famous Lawrencetune +4 TOK 258 later won the 2 Litre class at Le Mans in 1962 .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason or cancel your order – a full refund will be given.
