Porsche – original 1970s? London dealership ? keyring + ignition key

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered

An original Porsche keyring which will probably date from the 1970s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

Please note that there is a small tear in the leather keyfob where the leather folds over at the top to allow fitting of the splitring .

The keyring is currently in serviceable condition with care – but would not be recommended for everyday use .

Apart from the tear in the leather this keyring is in good condition with a vinyl insert badge mounted onto a keyfob in black faux leather which has been originally embossed with the some details – although these are now so faint that they are very difficult to read .

Having seen an identical keyring before – we think that the embossed details would have read as follows ( but we cannot be certain of this so would ask that anyone contemplating buying the keyring does so in the light of their own knowledge )

The ignition key which came fitted to the keyring is included in this sale and could be from a pre-1970s car .

If that is the case then the keyring could also date from the 1960s .

We are not authorities on ignition keys – so are not qualified to comment .
