Citroen – original vintage late 1950s/ 1960s shield badge mounted onto a red keyfob

An original Citroen keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1950s or early 1960s which has probably at some later stage been mounted onto a red keyfob .

We have just this one keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

It is not unusual to find an earlier badge mounted onto a later keyfob – badges like this one could have been produced at the time and not used for one reason or another and then finally been mounted onto a keyfob and sold years later .

We think this is what has happened in this case.

This keyring is in new old stock condition and has probably never been used.

The vitreous enamel shield badge is typical of the late 1950s/ early 1960s – we see badges like this one for other makes of car quite regularly ( but not usually in this mint condition after 60 years ! )

The badge has been mounted onto a keyfob in bright red faux leather which is a typical 1970s keyfob – which is also in brand new condition .

Certainly a very attractive keyring which could be used to good effect in any Citroen motor car from the 1950s almost up to the present day !
