Jaguar – original late 1960s/ early 1970s Sedan 3 star growler keyfob badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Jaguar keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1960s or early 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

We are listing just this one keyring with this badge  – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

2 other similar keyfob badges have recently come to light and we will then list them remounted one-by-one when this keyring has  been sold .

In the 1960s & early 1970s the vitreous enamel in the badges was generally still individually hand laid  so that each badge is slightly different – so we prefer to list each badge separately with photographs of the actual keyring.

This vitreous enamel badge is in superb condition as can be seen in the photos and we have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather .

There is a very slight overspill of translucent red enamel in the growler’s ears as can be seen in the enlarged high resolution photos !

This can hardly be seen when the badge is viewed at lifesize and as already mentioned in the early 1970s the vitreous enamel was still being individually hand laid .

The badge was made by Sedan who were based in Hertfordshire in England – their details are cast into the back of the badge.

Although these keyrings were produced a few years later than the Jaguar keyrings of the late 1950s & 1960s it is assumed that they would have been aimed at the same market – there were still many thousands of Jaguar sports & saloon cars on the roads of Britain, USA & the rest of the world in the 1970s with owners wanting a traditional leather keyring .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive – a lovely keyring with an original badge which could be used with virtually any classic Jaguar car .
