AC - original vintage new old stock late 1970s/early 1980s Caxton of Kew keyring - collector's item

An original AC keyring which will have been produced in the late 1970s or early 1980s .

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

Over the last 10 years we have hardly listed any original AC keyrings at all – original examples are very rare.

This particular keyring may not look particularly spectacular until you flip the badge up from the leather keyfob to reveal the maker’s name on the back of the badge – Caxton of Kew.

Caxtons have been closed for many years and were a small concern entrusted with making some of the most prestigious automotive keyrings .

Caxton’s vitreous enamel badges were almost in a class of their own at the time.

This AC keyring will have been made by Caxton of Kew in the mid to late 1970s or possibly very early 1980s.

It is new old stock in virtually mint condition and is the only the 2nd example of it’s kind which we have ever seen over the last 10 years .

The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a genuine leather keyfob ( most keyfobs at that time were in faux leather )

This keyring is date correct and original for use with any AC motor car of the period including AC 3000ME and AC Cobra MkIV and could be used with an earlier car as owners bought new keyrings at the time to use with earlier cars and the AC logo has never changed.
