Agrati/ Garelli Capri - original vintage 1960s keyring - collector's item

An original Agrati Capri keyring which will have been produced in the 1960s .

A very rare item – a completely original Capri keyring dating from the 1960s .

This keyring is in exceptionally good condition with the badge mounted onto a keyfob in black vinyl .

The badge is in coach enamel rather than the more usual vitreous enamel – this was applied by hand at the time .

The badge has the Italian maker’s details cast into the badge reverse .

Vinyl keyfobs were generally only produced in the 1960s – they were a very sensible option for a motor scooter which was intended for use in all weathers – much more weather proof than leather !

This keyring is original & correct for 1960s Agrati Capri scooter and would also presumably be correct for Garelli Capri scooter which very confusingly was also introduced in 1960. Having said that – Agrati merged with Garelli in 1965.
