Alfa Romeo - original vintage late 1970s/ 1980s keyring with Renamel acrylic badge

An original Alfa Romeo keyring which will have been produced in the late 1970s or 1980s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

An original Alfa Romeo keyring with a badge which will have been made by Renamel Ltd of Kilburn High Road, London ( they then moved to Honeypot Lane , London )

This keyring is in very good condition with a Renamel acrylic dome badge mounted onto a keyfob in black faux leather .

The keyfob is typical late 1970s/ 1980s with the badge secured onto the keyfob by means of an aluminium rivet .

However this was not the type of keyfob which Renamel generally used – so we can only assume that they had supplied another manufacturer with some of their Alfa Romeo badges .

Renamel were the first manufacturer to make keyrings with these acrylic badges which have lasted very well over the years and do have the advantage over the more traditional vitreous enamel badges in that they do not chip if dropped onto a hard concrete floor !

Renamel’s earliest keyfob badges  had ‘ made in england ‘ on the reverse of the badge – as this one has .

Later on the reverse of their badges was left plain.

This keyring will be original & correct for use with any late 1970s or 1980s Alfa Romeo motor car .
