1 in stock
An original Alfa Romeo Owner’s Club keyring which we would think will have been produced in the late 1960s.
We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
This keyring is a scarce item – we have only ever listed just one other example like it produced by CUD .
It will have been produced in the late 1960s or possibly the very early 1970s by CUD ( Castles Unit Development Co. of Leicester ) who are very well known as being the producers of the iconic torpedo keyrings in the 1960s .
This keyring has a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather .
The condition of the badge is remarkable for it’s age – no enamel chips or scratches whatsoever .
The leather keyfob is also in good serviceable condition with good tight stitching but is well worn in and has had a small hole punched in the leather beneath the badge .
We see this surprising often and can only assume that a previous owner had pinned the keyring to a wooden beam in the garage having sold the car – or whatever ?
We did consider remounting the badge before listing it but usually only do this as a last resort particularly where the original leather keyfob is still actually in a perfectly serviceable condition as this one is.
We would however be prepared to remount the badge onto a new leather keyfob within the listed price if a customer wanted us to do that .
If you are buying the keyring please let us know if you would like us to do that in the customer notes or by separate email .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
