Alpina - original vintage early version Alpina keyring - collector's item

We are not licensed by Alpina or BMW or any of their representatives to reproduce any of the registered Alpina or BMW designs.

The keyring in this listing is an original Alpina keyring which will probably have been produced around 35 or 40 years ago .

We have just this one early version original keyring to offer- when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This original early version Alpina keyring is in good condition and is only the 2nd example which we have ever listed over the years .

Difficult to date as we have seen so few original Alpina keyrings – Alpina was founded in 1965 producing high performance versions of BMW cars and working closely with BMW .

So this keyring could have been produced in the 1970s or 1980s ?

The very thin badge with acrylic overlay is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine full grain black leather .

The badge is in excellent condition apart from some unimportant rubbing of the nickel plating around the edge of the badge .

The genuine black leather keyfob is in good condition in the supple black leather which tended to be used for Alpina keyrings .

It has the usual pleasing appearance of a leather keyfob which has covered a good many miles and has become ‘ worn in ‘ and polished with use.

Later Alpina keyrings had a much heavier badge – 2 examples are currently offered here in this website shop ( unless now sold )
