Alvis – original 1960s CUD red triangle badge remounted onto a new keyfob in tan pigskin leather

£95.00

1 in stock

An original Alvis keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 196os which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

Just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

Together with this keyring you will receive the mortal remains of the original keyfob which we removed the badge from which is pictured in the last two listing photos .

This vitreous enamel badge has lost a small amount of it’s red enamel but is still very presentable as can be seen from the enlarged high resolution listing photos.

The badge came to us still mounted onto it’s original peardrop keyfob which was the shape which CUD used in the mid to late 1960s as they transitioned from their famous torpedo shaped keyfobs .

Needless to explain – CUD were Castles Unit Development Co. of Leicester – famed for their torpedo keyrings .

It can just be made out that that keyfob was in pigskin leather – so we have followed suit and remounted the badge onto a new peardrop keyfob also in pigskin leather .

Original Alvis keyrings and keyfob badges are scarce – so we felt it well worthwhile to go to this trouble to ensure that this little red triangle badge can continue it’s travels in an Alvis motor car now safely remounted onto a new keyfob of similar dimensions and shape and material as when it was originally produced 60 years ago .

If this isn’t dedication to our mission then what is ??  !!

The keyring in the photos is the actual one will you will receive – almost a miniature work of art ?
