Home / Online Shop / Ambassador – original vintage late 1950s Sculthorp keyring – collector’s item
NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold but we have left the listing on view as an example of a very scarce Ambassador keyring .
An original Ambassador keyring which will have been produced in the late 1950s .
When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .
An extremely rare item – we have just this one example of this original keyring for Ambassador motorcycle
The keyring is in really excellent condition ( probably new old stock & never been used ) and was made by Sculthorp of London in the late 1950s – their details are cast onto the back of the badge.
The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine tan pigskin leather – a very up-market item for the time .
This is the only example of an Ambassador keyring which we have ever seen apart from one loose badge which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob ( currently listed here in the website shop unless now sold )
We would assume that very few Ambassador keyrings were ever made – almost all of which will by now have been lost.
This keyring is original & correct for any late 1950s or early 1960s Ambassador motorcycle – including the 1957+ twin cylinder version and up until the DMW takeover in 1963.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive . SMOSOÂ 00/57Â Â 09/25
