NOW SOLD – Sorry this keyring has now been sold but we have left it on view for those interested as an example of an original Armstrong Siddeley keyring
The only Armstrong Siddeley keyring made by Tudor badgemakers which we have ever seen.
This keyring is in virtually mint condition and must be new old stock.
Made in the 1950s by Tudor Badgemakers – the vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a faux leather keyfob.
The nickel plated badge is very intricate with enamelling in powder blue and translucent red vitreous enamel.
This keyring is original & correct for use with any 1950s or early 1960s Armstrong Siddeley keyring.
Looking at it reminds me of my childhood in South Lincolnshire and visiting the Greyhound Coaching Inn in Folkingham which at that time was run by a Wing Commander Smythe.
My father was the local veterinary surgeon and sometimes attended the Wing-Co’s dog.
Wing Commander Smythe had quite a fleet of Armstrong Siddeley Whitleys & Typhoons housed in various outbuildings at the back of the Inn.
Sadly he had usually been sampling his wares and was unfit to drive any of them !
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 00/57 01/20
