An original Premier badges Armstrong Siddeley keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1960s which has been mounted onto a slightly later keyfob .

We have just this one keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

We are now listing the last one which we have in this excellent condition but have decided that the keyfob which the badge is mounted onto is slightly later than 1960s .

The vitreous enamel badge will have been made by Premier Badges in London in the 1960s and is in virtually mint condition .

Premier Badges’  name is cast onto the back of the badge .

We think that the badges which Premier made in the 1960s did not all sell at the time and some of the badges were left over and were then mounted for sale in the early 1970s as the keyfob which this badge is mounted onto looks to be an early 1970s design rather than a 1960s design .

This keyring dates from beyond the end of Armstrong Siddeley production – the production of keyrings for the marque  extended into the 1960s but there were many Armstrong Siddeley cars still in very regular use into the late 1960s and early 1970s and there was still a demand for keyrings f0r use in the cars at that time.

In the 1960s & 1970s most keyrings for the world’s cars were still made in England – it was quite an industry.

The badge is mounted onto a keyfob in black faux leather with the genuine leather symbol plainly gold-embossed …………………..but the keyfob is not genuine leather.

The keyfob is in a good quality textured faux leather. Trades descriptions legislation in the 1970s did not pick up on this and we commonly see similarly marked 1970s keyrings.

Having said that these faux leather keyfobs often actually lasted better than the ones made from the genuine leather being used at the time for keyring production.

This keyring is an example of one of the keyrings which actually available for use in Armstrong Siddeley cars in the late 1960s and into the 1970s.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
