Ashley - original vintage 1960s keyring - collector's item

An original Ashley keyring which will have been produced in the 1960s.

The only complete keyring which we have ever seen and listed for Ashley over the last 10 years !

This must be an incredibly rare keyring ………..rather like the cars themselves.

It will be a rare survivor of probably just one small batch of keyrings which was produced at the time to be supplied with the cars.

The keyring is in really excellent condition with a nickel plated vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a black vinyl keyfob.

Vinyl was often used for keyfobs in the 1960s – it was seen as a ‘cool’ new material and much more interesting than boring old leather .

Ashley Laminates was founded in Essex in 1955 and eventually settled in Bishops Stortford after several moves.

Ashley produced a range of cars , hardtops & body parts .

The cars included the Ashley 750, Sports Racer, 1172 & Sportiva.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.

We are also listing just one other Ashley keyring ( unless now sold ) – this is an original badge which has lost it’s original leather or vinyl keyfob and we have remounted the badge onto a new leather keyfob .
