1 in stock
An original vitreous enamel on gilt Audi keyfob badge which we would think will have been produced in the 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob in full grain black leather as can be seen in the photos.
We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
This gilt plated keyfob badge with jewellery quality vitreous enamel in deep cobalt blue is in really excellent condition .
The gilt plating has mellowed over the years to give a most attractive ‘ soft’ antique gold appearance which will stay bright whilst the keyring is in regular use – otherwise a quick rub with a cloth or even a smidge of any metal polish very sparingly applied will restore the lustre .
‘MADE IN ENGLAND ‘ cast into the reverse of the badge – in the 1970s almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were produced in England – it was quite an industry .
However with very few Audi cars on the roads of Britain at the time – correspondingly very few keyrings were produced representing Audi .
This is the only Audi keyfob badge of this design which we have ever listed .
A superb keyring with an original badge now safely mounted onto a new leather keyfob which could be used in any 1970s Audi motor car or could be used as a ‘retro’ keyring in a later car .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
