Audi – original new old stock ? 1990s Manhattan Windsor keyring

A superb original Audi keyring produced by Manhattan Windsor which we would think will have been produced during the 1990s – towards the end of Manhattan Windsor’s production .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This is the only example of one of these keyrings which we have ever listed – very few can have been produced .

This Audi keyring was produced by Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham who have become recognised as being the premier manufacturer of the finest British automotive keyrings ever produced – sadly they closed their doors in 2007 having produced keyrings for over 30 years .

It looks to be in new old stock condition – if it has been used then that will have been very sparingly – and has a nickel plated badge with jewellery quality vitreous enamelling of the highest standard .

The reverse of the badge is marked with Manhattan Windsor’s M over W logo .

The badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine full grain black leather .

This keyring will be one of the last top quality British made traditional keyrings with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a genuine leather keyfob ever produced for Audi .

From the late 1950s until the 1990s almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were produced in England – it was quite an industry .

Sadly almost all car keyrings are now produced overseas generally with plastic resin badges mounted onto imitation leather keyfobs .

The keyring in the photos is the keyring which you will receive – a lovely keyring which could be used in any Audi vehicle of the period or as a retro keyring in a much later car .

A special keyring for the Audi owner who ( like us ) still likes to use a traditional leather keyring !
