An original Audi keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1960s or early 1970s which we have remounted onto a new keyfob in black leather as can be seen in the photos .
Just this one keyring in black leather with this badge to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
We had just a few of these original new old stock vitreous enamel Audi keyfob badges which were produced in the late 1960s or early 1970s which we have been offering remounted onto new leather keyfobs .
We now have just 3 badges left which are being offered remounted onto a keyfob in black leather in this listing and also being offered remounted onto keyfobs in red leather & slate grey leather in a couple of other listings ( unless now sold )
The vitreous enamel badges are in mint condition – the enamel would have been hand laid prior to firing at the time .
These badges came from the leather works of Heath Machin & Co. in Walsall, England.
Heath Machin produced their own badges ( these are some of their own badges ) for their own keyrings and also mounted badges onto leather keyfobs for other manufacturers – most notably Melsom Products Ltd of Birmingham.
Heath Machin changed hands in the early 1970s and continued making small leather goods up until the 1990s.
We have become very well known over the years for remounting original badges like these onto new leather keyfobs of the correct pattern to enable the badges to continue in use for years to come.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
