Austin 1100 – original vintage 1960s new old stock Avon Cliff keyring with light blue leather keyfob – collector’s item

An original new old stock Austin 1100 keyring which will have been produced in the 1960s.

One of two original new old stock Austin 1100 keyrings which came to us recently.

Both of these were made by Avon Cliff badgemakers in the 1960s .

These are the very best examples of original keyrings for Austin 1100  which we have ever seen – it would be very difficult to improve on one of these.

The keyrings have different coloured leathers and stitching colours.

It is unbelievable how much trouble Avon Cliff put into making these keyrings which must have been individually hand selected and stitched to achieve such variation.

Nowadays this level of attention is termed ‘bespoke’ – here we see an example of this taking place over 50 years ago !

The particular keyring in this listing is new old stock – so in virtually mint condition with a hand laid blue vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine light blue leather  – very up-market for the rather austere 1960s !
