Austin A40 – vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An Austin A40 vitreous enamel keyfob badge which we would think will have been produced within the last 15 years which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

This badge is in new condition and it is unlikely that it will ever have been used.

Lovely vitreous enamel badges like this one were produced in Birmingham until relatively recently for the classic car market .

They were marked ‘ MADE IN ENGLAND ‘ as this one is .

Sadly it appears that these badges are no longer produced in England – those produced now are produced overseas in modern resin based ( plastic ) enamel and are no longer marked ‘MADE IN ENGLAND ‘ .

This badge will be correct for 1958 – 1967 Austin A40 and we have remounted it onto a new keyfob in full grain black saddlery hide.
