Austin Healey - original 1960s vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Austin Healey keyfob badge which we would think will have been produced in the 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

We have just this one example of this keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This jewellery quality vitreous enamel badge is in really superb condition – most unusual as most Austin Healey badges which we receive have some wear or damage as the keyrings which the badges were mounted onto tended to receive a lot of use in the days when the cars were in daily use .

The badge is as fresh & bright as if it had been made only yesterday .

The back of the badge has ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ cast into a recessed rectangular depression – very distinctive and tells us that the badge was probably made by Freeline badgemakers of Bristol .

The exceptional quality of the vitreous enamelling and the shape of the badge loop are very 1960s .

This is a 1960s keyfob badge design and thousands would have been produced in the 1960s .

Sadly we very seldom see any of these – almost all will have been worn out, lost or discarded long ago .

This badge is original & correct for use with any 1960s Austin Healey motor car and we have remounted it onto a new keyfob in black saddlery hide

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive and could almost be considered as a new keyring for a 50 year old car .
