Austin Healey – original 1960s vitreous enamel gear knob badge inlaid into a new leather keyfob

An original vitreous enamel Austin Healey gear knob badge which will have been produced in the 1960s which we have inlaid onto a new leather keyfob in full grain black leather as can be seen in the photos.

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer  – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This gilt plated gear knob badge with  jewellery quality vitreous enamel is in superb condition and will have been produced in the 1960s .

Badges like these were produced for inlaying into the top of gear knobs at the time – but lend themselves to inlaying into keyrings which is something which we have done with many gear knob badges for other makes of car over the years .

At the time this badge would also have been produced as a keyfob badge with a metal loop on top for mounting onto a leather keyfob .

We have bonded the badge onto a thin oversized circular brass plate which has then been inlaid into the leather keyfob and stitched in .

Although not an original Austin Healey keyring as such ………….. this is a superb keyring with an original vintage Austin Healey badge which could be used with any Austin Healey car .
