Austin Healey – original 1980s? keyring with acrylic badge

An Austin Healey keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1980s .

We have just this one keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in very good condition with an acrylic dome badge mounted onto a keyfob in black imitation leather .

Keyrings like this one were ‘standard fare ‘ for use with Austin Healey cars in the 1980s and distributed through motoring accessory shops at the time .

Acrylic badged keyrings like this one had originally been produced by Renamel of London but other manufacturers soon jumped on the bandwagon – we wouldn’t think that this keyring will have been produced by Renamel .

Acrylic badges have the very real advantage over the more traditional vitreous enamel badges in that they do not break or chip when dropped onto a hard surface !

These keyrings are more resilient .
