Austin Healey - original vintage 1970s keyring

An original Austin Healey keyring which will have been produced in the 1970s.

This keyring is an example of what was being used in Austin Healey motor cars 40 years ago .

It dates from the 1970s and is in good used condition .

The genuine vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in black faux leather plainly marked with the leather symbol !

This was a common deception in the 1970s before trades descriptions legislation grew teeth !

The badge is actually the earlier Austin Healey ‘wings’ badge but was still being produced in the 1970s.

Plenty of Austin Healeys were still on the roads as daily drivers in the 1970s – and there was still quite a market for new  keyrings for the cars.

Similar reproduction keyrings are still available on internet auction sites but these are easily told apart from the original example in this listing because the badges are in modern resin based enamel which is not the same as this vitreous enamel badged example.
