Austin - original late 1950s shield badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Austin shield keyfob badge which will date from the late 1950s which we have remounted onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather as can be seen from the photos.

The vitreous enamel badge is in generally good condition and is original & correct for use with any late 1950s or early 1960s Austin motor car .

The nickel plating has a few flaws where the underlying copper base metal is shining through – this can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos but is not particularly noticeable when viewed at life size with the naked eye.

The badge will have been made by Simons Concessionaires badgemakers of London at the time – their shield badges had this very distinctive shape .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
