Austin - original vintage new old stock 1960s 'Flying A ' keyring

An original Austin keyring which will have been produced ( in Italy ) in the 1960s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

The Austin Flying A emblem is usually associated with the 1950s – but this keyring was produced in Italy a few years later than that and this may not have been fully understood by the manufacturer !

Nevertheless this is a superb keyring with a gilt plated badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine heavily textured leather .

Leather with this heavy ‘bobbly’ texture was termed ‘elephant hide ‘ at the time for obvious reasons but was not elephant hide of course .

The Italians have always loved leather and can be relied upon to produce something stylishly different even if it just a keyring !
