Bentley – original vintage 1990s new old stock Manhattan Windsor keyring – collector’s item

A superb original new old stock Manhattan Windsor Bentley keyring which we would think will have been produced during the 1990s – towards the end of Manhattan Windsor’s production .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer  – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

A new old stock Bentley keyring produced by Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham who have become recognised as being the premier manufacturer of the finest British automotive keyrings ever produced – sadly they closed their doors some time ago having produced keyrings for over 30 years .

This is the only example of one of these Manhattan Windsor Bentley keyrings which we have ever listed – they cannot have made many otherwise we would have seen other examples before .

This new old stock keyring has a nickel plated metal badge with jewellery quality red vitreous enamelling of the highest standard .

The reverse of the badge is marked with Manhattan Windsor’s details .

The badge is mounted onto a keyfob of a generous thickness in genuine full grain black leather .

This keyring has never been used and is still mounted onto the original display card.

This keyring will be one of the last top quality traditional keyrings with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a genuine leather keyfob ever produced for Bentley .

The enlarged high resolution listing photos have picked up slight dark inclusions in the red vitreous enamel – these are virtually invisible when the keyring is viewed in the hand at life size – unless you are scrutinising the badge really closely and looking especially for them – even then your eyesight would need to be keen .

Had the photos not picked up on them and we had never mentioned them you would never have noticed – we never saw them until we edited the photos !

Vitreous enamelling was an art and each badge could come out of the furnace to cool slowly and these tiny inclusions could appear .

Modern plastic resin based enamel now used on keyfob badges almost exclusively are boringly consistent and never include such things !
