The keyring in this listing is an original vintage BMW keyring which will have been produced around 25 years ago .

The keyring in this listing has been used and has a flaw which is mentioned in the description which follows below .

We have just this one BMW dealership keyring in used condition to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in excellent used condition with a jewellery grade vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather of a generous thickness .

The vitreous enamel badge is in very good condition .

The genuine black leather keyfob which the badge is mounted onto is also in excellent condition but the reverse of the leather keyfob has had a sticker placed on it at some time ( probably when the keyring was new ) ………….and when that sticker was pulled off ( or wore off ) it has left a witness mark on the leather .

This can be seen in the final listing photo of the reverse of the leather key fob ( an underexposed photo so that the ‘ flaw’ shows up ! )

Hardly a problem and the ‘ witness mark’ will probably diminish in use .

If a keyring is being bought to be used as intended – then a used keyring like this one is ideal and represents a very considerable saving over buying a similar keyring in mint condition .

Examples of these keyrings do occasionally appear on internet auction sites but are almost always in well used condition  – these keyrings tended to be used on a daily basis and the vitreous enamel badges almost always have chips in the enamel around the edge of the badge and the leather keyfobs will be showing signs of wear .

These are the keyrings which were supplied with the top of the range cars which BMW had in it’s 1980s & 1990s line up.

These keyrings were almost certainly produced by Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham – some were produced with their name on the back of the badges but most were unmarked like this example – most probably because BMW specified that they be left plain .

Manhattan Windsor were the premier manufacturer of quality automotive keyrings in the 1990s – sadly they closed their doors some years ago.

Superb quality keyrings which any BMW salesperson would have been proud to hand over with a new car .

These keyrings exhibit the level of quality which British manufacturers were capable of producing before many automotive keyrings later became mass produced throw -away items with plastic resin badges mounted onto imitation leather keyfobs .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
