BMW – original 90 Jahre commemorative keyring – collector’s item

The keyring in this listing is original BMW keyring which will have been produced in 2012 – 90 years after BMW was founded.

This is only the 3rd example of this rare keyring embossed ’90 Jahre BMW’ which we have ever seen & listed .

This keyring is in brand new condition with a jewellery quality vitreous enamel badge inlaid into a keyfob in genuine dark tan full grain leather embossed ‘ 90 Jahre BMW ‘ – 90 years of BMW .

The keyring is still in it’s original presentation box as can be seen in the photos .

The leather portion of the keyring measures 45mm ( 1.75″ ) square .

The BMW Corporation was founded in 1916 as a manufacturer of aircraft engines and production was moved to Munich in 1922 ( where it remains to this day )

This keyring commemorates the 90th anniversary of Munich production in 2012 .

The first BMW logo appeared in 1917 in blue and white as a reflection of the state colours of Bavaria .

The logo represents a stylised aircraft propellor.

The logo has undergone several changes over the years but remains true to the original design .
