The keyring in this listing has an original BMW keyfob badge which will have been produced around 50 years ago which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

We are offering just this one keyring with this actual badge – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This original nickel plated vitreous enamel badge is in really excellent condition and looks as though it could have been made just yesterday – there are no flaws of any description to mention on the face of the badge .

As can be seen in the enlarged high resolution photos there is a ‘ding’ at the edge of the reverse of the badge which is beneath the nickel plating showing that it was there as the badge was made and before the badge was nickel plated . Hardly worth mentioning particularly as it can only be spotted when the badge is flipped up off the leather keyfob .

No maker’s name on the reverse of the badge which is quite usual for a late 1960s/ early 1970s keyfob badge – almost certainly made in Birmingham as in the late 1960s and 1970s almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry .

We have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in full grain ‘vintage’ black leather -so the badge can now give another 40 years of service.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
