BMW - original vintage 1970s melsom keyflix keyring in well used condition

The keyring in this listing is original BMW keyring which will have been produced in the 1970s .

An original 40 + year old BMW keyring in well used condition .

Just this one keyring to offer  – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This keyring is in good serviceable used condition which would suit a car which has not been subjected to over restoration !

Keyrings like this one would have been produced in considerable quantities at the time but BMW cars were built to be driven and almost all of those keyrings will have been lost or discarded when they wore out .

The nickel plated enamel badge is in good condition with a few tiny marks .

The badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather which is well worn in with use but has many miles left in it yet .

Made by Melsom Products Ltd of Birmingham at the time – Melsom’s details are cast into the back of the badge and their ‘Keyflix’ trade mark can still just be seen embossed into the leather beneath the badge .

In the 1970s almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry,

This keyring would be original & correct for use with any 1970s onwards BMW motor car .
