An original Bond Equipe GT keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .
We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
This is only the 2nd example of one of these rare badges which we have ever listed – the other one was still attached to it’s original leather keyfob ( currently listed unless now sold )
This keyfob badge is in new old stock mint condition apart from having an unimportant small patch of ‘ clinker ‘ attached to the reverse of the badge .
These patches of ‘clinker’ were quite common at the time as a result of the enamel firing process – we could probably have scraped it off but this could then show as an un-plated area so have chosen to leave it be .
It can only be seen when the badge is flipped up off the keyfob – not very often .
We have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather .
No maker’s mark but almost certainly produced at the time in Birmingham .
This badge will be original & correct for use with 1967 -1970 Bond Equipe GT – also known as the Bond 2 litre .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
