Bond Equipe GT – original vintage new old stock late 1960s keyring – collector’s item

An original Bond Equipe GT keyring which will have been produced in the late 1960s.

What can we say ??

What a superb item .

If there was ever a competition for the rarest automotive keyring of all time this keyring would be on the short list .

The only example of a complete original Bond Equipe GT keyring which we have ever seen & listed over the years .

This keyring is in new old stock mint condition and must have been hidden in the back of a drawer for the last 50 years only seeing the light of day recently.

The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine high grade black leather.

‘AEW’ within a diamond on the reverse of the badge indicates that this keyring was made by AE Wassell of Birmingham all those years ago.

Wassells were usually associated with making keyrings for motorcycles – very rarely for cars.

It may be that few manufacturers at the time were prepared to risk making a run of keyrings for such a rare car with the chance of only a few keyrings selling.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive and will be original and correct for use with 1967 – 1970 Bond Equipe GT sometimes known as the Bond 2 litre .
