Borgward - original vintage late 1950s keyring - collector's item

NOW SOLD – Sorry this keyring has now been sold but has been left on view as a rare example of an original Borgward keyring for those who have an interest to see it.

An original Borgward keyring which will have been produced in the 1950s.

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

We have just this one example of this very rare keyring to offer – which is the only example which we have ever seen.

Made in the late 1950s by Premier Badges of London. At that time virtually all automotive keyrings were made in England for the world’s cars – it was quite an industry.

The keyring is probably new old stock as it appears to be unused.

The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a tan leather keyfob in genuine pigskin- a very upmarket material.

The leather hinge which secures the badge to the leather fob is perfectly sound but appears slightly scuffed  – this has probably happened during storage over the years and is hardly noticeable.

This keyring is original & correct for any 1954 – 1961 Borgward Isabella saloon or coupe or 1960 P100.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
