These keyrings are original items which we would date as having been made in the 1970s and have no association with the recent Bristol Car Co.
These keyrings have obviously nothing to do with Bristol cars – but will be of interest to those who have an interest in Bristol Aeroplanes.
This Bristol section of our website shop seemed to be the obvious place to list them !
We have just 2 examples of these keyrings to offer which we would assume will have been made at the time to commemorate the Bristol Blenheim light bomber.
We have seen similar keyrings from the period depicting other aeroplanes and these Bristol Blenheim ones are in a class of their own regarding quality- the design of the badge is very striking with the stylised frontal aspect of the approaching ‘plane , whilst the quality of the enamelling is outstanding.
The keyrings are in excellent condition with nickel plated badges in vitreous enamel mounted onto faux leather keyfobs in a blue teal colour.
The Bristol Blenhiem light bomber was designed and built by the Bristol Aeroplane Co. and used extensively particularly during the first couple of years of the 2nd World War.
When both keyrings have been sold – this listing will be cancelled.
