A vitreous enamel Dodge Electra 225 keyfob badge which we would think will have been produced for the classic car market within the last 25 years or so which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

This is NOT an original 1960s or 1970s keyfob badge .

We have just this one example of this keyring with this badge to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

We have just this one gilt plated vitreous enamel Dodge keyfob badge which is offered mounted onto one of our slimline teardrop kefobs in black saddlery hide as can be seen in the photos.

The badge is in good condition and will probably have been made in Birmingham in the late 1990s or very early 2000s .

‘ MADE IN ENGLAND’ marked on the reverse of the badge :- up until around 20 years ago vitreous enamel keyfob badges were still being made for the world’s cars in England .

After that keyring production moved away overseas and later badges will no longer be stamped ‘ MADE IN ENGLAND ‘ .

The badge has been produced in ‘old school’ vitreous enamel – later badges produced overseas are very unlikely to be in vitreous enamel :- they will probably be in ‘modern’ resin based ‘ hard enamel ‘ .

The Buick Electra 225 was named after Electra Waggoner Biggs who was a Texas socialite & sculptor famed for producing sculptures of three presidents .

‘225’ referred to the length of the car – 225 inches – giving the car the street name of ‘ Deuce and a Quarter ‘ .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive
