Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray – original 1970s/ 1980s ? vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray keyfob badge which we would think will have been produced during the 1970s or 1980s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

We have just this one example of this keyring with this badge – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

We have seen plenty of modern reproductions of this particular badge – none of the reproductions that we have seen have the little ‘nib’ which protrudes from the edge of the badge at 4 o’clock on the face of the badge – and all have been in ‘modern’ resin based enamel – not ‘old school’ vitreous enamel like this original badge .

This original vitreous enamel badge is in very good condition and we have remounted it onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather .
