Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray – original new old stock late 1980s Renamel keyring with an acrylic badge

An original Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray  keyring which we would think will have been produced in the late 1980s or very early 1990s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in new old stock condition with an acrylic dome badge mounted onto a keyfob in black faux leather – it will never have been used.

It will have been produced by Renamel Ltd in their final Honeypot Lane London location .

Renamel had produced some of the first acrylic badged keyrings in the late 1970s & early 1980s which had the very real advantage over traditional vitreous enamel badged keyrings in that the badge did not crack or break when dropped onto a hard surface .

Their original 1970s badges were marked ‘ RENAMEL made in England’ on the reverse which was then shortened simply to :- ‘ made in england ‘ in their distinctive lower case typescript .

Renamel keyrings were budget priced but were well made .
