Chevrolet- scarce original late 1950s/early 1960s ‘silver stars’ elongated ‘B’ enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Chevrolet ‘silver stars’ keyfob badge which we would think will have been produced in the late 1950s or early 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled

This keyfob badge is quite a find – the last one which we listed and sold was in December 2021 and we have been looking for another one ever since .

We have just this one example of this very early original Chevrolet ‘silver stars’ elongated B ( see below ) keyfob badge which we have remounted onto new a new keyfob in full grain black leather as can be seen in the photos.

The badge is in mint condition with white & cobalt blue vitreous enamelling and of course the famous silver stars in bright nickel plating .

These is a very early badge dating from the late 1950s or early 1960s with the mark of a mysterious badge maker on the back – described as an elongated ‘B’ by Bud Marston who is the author of the renowned ‘Vintage Jaguar Keyrings’ book featured in the Jaguar section in this website shop.

Bud recognises this mark on the back of some Jaguar keyfob badges dating from the same period – but has never discovered who the badgemaker was.

In the 1950s & 1960s almost all keyrings & keyfob badges for the world’s cars including American cars were made in England – it was quite an industry.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .

As youngsters we were always told to ‘shoot for the stars ‘ in life………………so we have done just that by listing this lovely keyring for £75.00.

And it is worth every penny – find another in this condition !
