We have just a few of these original vitreous enamel white background badges to offer mounted inlaid into new keyfobs in full grain black hide as shown in the photos.
These vitreous enamel badges were made by Melsom Products of Birmingham UKÂ in the 1960s.
Other badges which they made would have had a metal loop on the top of the badge to allow the badge to be mounted onto a keyfob by means of a leather hinge.
These badges were manufactured just the same but without the metal loop and would probably have been intended for inlaying into the top of a gear lever knob.
We have adapted these badges to inlay into our keyfobs by means of bonding an oversized brass plate to the base of each badge and then laminating the baseplate within the keyfob.
This is something which we have successfully being doing for similar badges for many years .
