Cobra – original 1980s? acrylic badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Cobra keyfob badge  which will probably have been produced in the 1980s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

An original Cobra keyfob badge which will have been made by Renamel Ltd of Kilburn High Road, London – they then moved to Honeypot Lane.

This acrylic dome badge is in very good condition and is an example of the type of keyfob badge which was commonly mounted to keyfobs for use with these cars at the time.

Renamel were the first badgemakers to make keyrings with these acrylic dome badges which have lasted very well over the years and do have the advantage over the more traditional vitreous enamel badges in that they do not chip if dropped onto a hard concrete floor !
