Commer - original 1960s CUD vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new torpedo keyfob

An original Commer keyfob badge which will have been produced in the early 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

Original vintage Commer keyrings and badges are literally the hen’s teeth of the keyring world !

Over the last 10 years we have only listed 3 other original Commer keyrings all of which were slightly later than the badge on this one and all 3 very quickly sold – 2 to customers in Australia.

Strange how most of our original Bedford keyrings have also sold to Australia…………………………..

This original vitreous enamel badge is in excellent condition apart from a speck of nickel plating being missing from the left hand edge of the badge.

The badge was made by Castles Unit Developments of Leicester ( the famous CUD Co. ) and would have originally been mounted onto one of their distinctive torpedo keyfobs.

For that reason we have remounted the badge onto a torpedo keyfob as can be seen.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.

When this one sells ( to Australia ? ) where will we ever find another ?
