Cooper – original 1970s decal insert badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Cooper keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

We have just this one example to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

These Mini Cooper keyfob badges with a vinyl decal insert were fitted to ‘budget’ keyrings and those keyrings were soon discarded when they became worn out or when the owner changed their car .

Very few have survived after over 40 years.

This badge is in excellent condition with the vinyl decal insert inlaid into the nickel plated metal mount and we have remounted it onto a new leather keyfob in full grain black leather .

During the 1970s there was still a considerable market for high quality keyrings for using with Mini Cooper cars .

At the same time there was a market for a cheaper keyring with a badge like the one in this listing –  probably for use with everyday driver cars – of which there were plenty before original Mini Cooper cars became the classics which they are today .
