An original Delage badge which we have mounted inlaid into a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

An original Delage badge in blue vitreous enamel which we have adapted to be inlaid into a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

The badge is in good condition considering it’s age but much of the nickel plating has worn off the DELAGE lettering .

We would not expect to ever find an original Delage keyring as automotive keyrings did not come into general use until after the mid 1950s  by which time all production of Delage cars had ceased .

In 1935 Delage was transferred to Delahaye .

After the war in 1950 – despite stringent taxes on cars with engine sizes in excess of 2 litres – Delahaye produced 235 cars – many of which were Delages .

However production of Delage motor cars ceased in 1953 .

In 1954 Delahaye was absorbed into Hotchkiss .
