Ducati - original late 1950s/ early 1960s keyfob badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob - collector's item

An original Ducati keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1950s or early 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob .

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

You are most unlikely to ever see another of these Ducati keyfob badges because this is the only one that we have ever seen over the years !

What a remarkable find – and certainly the oldest original Ducati keyfob badge which we have ever seen .

The badge is in really excellent condition with a vitreous enamel badge bonded to a nickel plated shield which came to us without the original leather keyfob .

In that case we have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in black full grain leather .

We do very occasionally find similar badges ( with the vitreous enamel badge bonded onto a nickel plated shield ) for other makes of motorcycle .

Some of these are easy to date due to the model represented – so we know that this badge will have been produced in the late 1950s or early 1960s .

We would usually only describe a completely original keyring ( not an original badge which has been remounted ) as a ‘collector’s item ‘ – but this badge is so significant that it has to be described thus .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive and the badge will be original & correct for any late 1950s or 1960s Ducati motorcycle .
