An original Elf Team Tyrrell keyfob badge which we would think will have been produced in the 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .
We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .
This chrome plated keyfob badge with dark cobalt blue & red vitreous enamel detail is in very good condition and we have mounted it onto a new keyfob in black saddlery hide .
It is the only example of this badge which we have ever seen – a very rare badge .
‘ MADE IN ENGLAND ‘ marked on the back of the badge – almost certainly the badge will have been made in Birmingham .
The Tyrrell Racing organisation was founded by Ken Tyrrell who started racing in 1958 and then started building it’s own cars in 1970 .
It’s greatest success was in the early 1970s with Jackie Stewart driving when it won 3 Driver’s Championships & one Constructor’s Championship .
Sponsored by the French fuel Co. ELF – Tyrrell Racing continued to win races through the 1970s and into the early 1980s .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
