Home / Online Shop / ERF – original vintage 1960s keyring in used condition
REFERENCE ONLY – this keyring has now been sold but has been left on view as an example of a very well travelled keyring !
An original ERF keyring which will have been produced in the 1960s
When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .
This keyring is in well used but perfectly serviceable condition with a brass badge bright with wear and which would probably originally have been nickel plated .
The nickel plating will be spread from one end of the UK to the other !
The badge is mounted onto a genuine black leather keyfob with the leather well worn in like a comfortable pair of shoes.
This keyring will have traversed the length and breadth of Britain probably many thousands of times and also possibly also into Europe- just imagine the tales which it could tell.
Edwin Richard Foden’s ERF factory in Middlewich, Cheshire, England closed in 2002 after decades of building the trucks which helped to make Britain Great Britain.
Empires rise and fall.
The ERF name was then sadly discontinued by the owners ( MAN ) in 2007.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive- it seems sad that a small price has to be put on such an historic item as this keyring.
We know that it is bound to be bought by someone who will understand it’s relevance and treasure it.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 59/93 06/20
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason or cancel your order – a full refund will be given.
