Facel Vega - original vintage early 1960s CUD vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

NOW SOLD – but this keyring has been left on view as it has the only original keyfob badge for Facel Vega which we have ever seen.

An original Facel Vega keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This must be one of the rarest keyfob badges of all time – this is the only example which we have seen over the last 10 years.

The vitreous enamel badge is in mint condition and was made by Castles Unit Developments of Church Gate, Leicester in the early 1960s – their famous CUD mark is on the back of the badge.

Castles made keyrings for all the ‘best’ makes of car and their keyrings were exported all over the world until their demise in the late 1960s. At that time almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry.

We are offering the badge mounted onto one of our handmade & hand stitched leather keyfobs in full grain black hide as can be seen in the photos- the original leather keyfob had long since disappeared.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive and the badge is original & correct for use with any mid 1950s up to 1964 Facel Vega motor car.

When it has been sold this listing will cancel – and we very much doubt if we will ever see another of these original Facel Vega badges. 00/572   11/20
