We are not licensed by Ferrari or any of their representatives to reproduce any of the registered Ferrari logos and badge designs.

The keyring in this listing is an original Ferrari keyring which will have been produced in England over 45 years ago .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

In the 1970s Ferrari had their own superb quality keyrings made in Italy just as they still do today but a few British manufacturers also produced Ferrari keyrings as almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were produced in England at that time – it was quite an industry.

The British made keyrings & badges were generally not to the same standard as the Italian made ones although this particular keyring is an exception to that rule – it is as well made as the Italian made counterparts .

This keyring is in exceptionally good condition and will probably be new old stock having never been used .

It is only the 2nd example of one of these Ferrari ‘Trend’ keyrings which we have ever listed over the years .

The jewellery quality nickel plated vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather gold embossed ‘ TREND – Real Leather ‘ .

The keyring was produced by a British Company known as ‘ Trend ‘ who also made keyrings for other makes of car .

Very little can be found out about ‘Trend’ but they may have had a connection with Alexander Accessories  – Alexanders marketed high quality wooden rimmed steering wheels and other motoring accessories at the time .

‘SF’ on the badge represents ‘Scuderia Ferrari ‘ – ‘Scuderia’ is ‘ a stable for racing horses ‘ – Scuderia being Ferrari’s racing division .

The ‘F’ of SF at the base of the badge is slightly below the level of the rest of the enamel – in the 1970s the liquid enamel was often still individually hand laid prior to firing and no two enamel badges ever turned out exactly the same . This can just be seen in the enlarged high resolution photos and is of little consequence on a vintage badge but is best mentioned.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
